Project Highlight: Mauritania

  • Mauritania is one of the most unreached countries in the world. Hostile to the Gospel and a hot spot of Islamic extremism, Mauritania has been one of the hardest places to reach…but not impossible. We know closed, locked doors don’t stop God and He has placed Mauritania on the heart of AGWM Africa.,

  • We had workers in Mauritania years ago, but they were kicked out of the country. There are believers underground, but they are few. Following Jesus brings terrible shame to the family and it is a risk for the people of Mauritania…but God is calling people back to Him!

  • Our vision is to see a team planted in Mauritania in the next 5 years. To see this happen, we need workers who are willing to go and a unit who has the necessary skills to lead a team. Currently, we are resourcing people to pray for Mauritania - for open doors, softened hearts, and willing servants to respond and “go”.

  • A land where we will see a healthy church within walking distance of every Mauritanian.
